Welcome to Wokingham Bikeathon New Website
We’ve had a bit of a revamp – we hope you like it!
It was time to improve the functionality of the website for all you cyclists and, to be fair, make it easier for the Committee to share information more effectively with you too!
Wokingham Bikeathon new website not only looks great, but is coupled with an updated registration system to make registering yourself or a group of riders a much simpler process. The site has all the essential information you need including details about our 35 mile route, or the 15 mile route, the drink stops, our sponsors, other organisations who are helping on the day and charities who have benefited from the event in the past.
These news pages will be home to our blog bringing you information updates about the event, stories about cyclists who have entered and tips about cycling, nutrition, clothing and maintenance to help you prepare for the day.
The fantastic photos (courtesy of the Wokingham and East Berkshire Camera Club) are a fabulous record of the huge number of cyclists who have enjoyed this event over the years. If anyone is unsure about whether to enter, hopefully these pictures will offer a just enough inspiration to encourage them to hit that “Register Now” button…
And did you notice the new logo? It’s a little brighter to catch the eye on our advertising material – hopefully you will spot it around town in the lead up to the event and if you do, point it out to your friends and encourage them to visit our website and register for the event too.
If you happen to be a journalist, then we even have a page for you with some downloadable resources to help make it easier to publish news about this fantastic event.
And if you’re wondering who designed it, it was a lovely guy called Peter Condon from PS Web Design – Thanks Peter!
