Sunday 25 June saw well over 800 riders participate in the Wokingham Bikeathon sponsored by Rodger Duckworth Physiotherapy Practice and run as part of National Bike Week.
Local charity, Limbcare have entered a team of 10 riders into the 2017 Wokingham Bikeathon on 25 June including four riders who will be powering a Surrey Bike around the 15 mile course.
Local cyclist Kevin Jones is taking on the legendary Lands End to John O’Groats cycle ride to raise £6k for the Prince’s Trust to help vulnerable young people to transform their lives. With the support of the Pulse8 team at Nirvana, Shinfield, Kevin is training hard to prepare for the 9-day 970-mile journey in September. With hundreds of miles of training already under his belt, Kevin has his sights set on the Wokingham Bikeathon on 25 June as a key part of his training schedule.
