Quietest route recommended for families.
Quietest route recommended for families.
It is a quite flat route on generally quiet roads, so it is an easy 15 miles. The roads will not be closed, so riders will need to take usual care with traffic. At an average speed of 10 miles per hour, it will take 90 minutes of riding plus any extra time you take at the drinks stop.
Cantley Park
Wokingham RG40 5QG
The drink stop is 9.3 miles (15 km) from the start and is in a field adjacent to Hogmoor Lane, Hurst. In addition to water, there will be snacks available.
This drink stop is run by ARC Counselling. ARC is an organisation that offers a free and confidential counselling service. They offer this service to anyone who needs counselling, young or old, in a warm, comfortable and safe environment.

Please be sure to check behind for traffic as you slow down and move off the road from the drinks stop. Also, please park your bike out of the way of traffic and other riders. There is plenty of space for everyone.
Once you set off from the event centre, the route will be marked with the use of arrow signs on a yellow background. Arrow signs will be at all junctions on the route. So quite simply you follow these signs as you come to a junction.
The route signs will direct you around the course and will be found at junctions and turnings.
Course split points will be used to highlight where the route splits between the 15 mile route and the 35 mile route. A red and white ‘course split ahead’ sign will warn riders that the route will split.
